TERMS OF SERVICE

These Terms of Service govern your use of BadgePix.com and your purchase, redemption, or use of BadgePix products and Gift Certificates. By using this website, submitting an order, purchasing a Gift Certificate, redeeming a Gift Certificate, or placing an agency order, you agree to these Terms.


ABOUT BADGEPIX

BadgePix creates removable photo decals designed to fit on the back of law-enforcement badges. BadgePix is a privately operated business and is not a law-enforcement agency, governmental entity, badge manufacturer, or representative of any police department unless specifically stated otherwise. BadgePix products are personal keepsakes and are not safety equipment, protective equipment, or official law-enforcement equipment.


INDIVIDUAL BADGEPIX ORDERS

Individual BadgePix are currently sold one at a time. The current retail price is displayed on the website at the time of purchase. Applicable sales tax may be added. Customers provide the photograph, recipient information, mailing address, and other information necessary to create and deliver the product. You will have an opportunity to preview and approve your BadgePix before completing your purchase.


CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED PHOTOGRAPHS

You are responsible for selecting and submitting the photograph used to create your BadgePix. By uploading a photograph, you represent that you have the right to use and reproduce that image for this purpose. You grant BadgePix permission to temporarily use, process, crop, resize, reproduce, and otherwise prepare the photograph as reasonably necessary to create, preview, produce, and fulfill your BadgePix order. You may not upload photographs or other material that you do not have the right to use.

BadgePix may refuse content that is unlawful, threatening, exploitative, obscene, infringing, or otherwise inappropriate for production.


PHOTO QUALITY

The appearance of a finished BadgePix depends in part on the quality, resolution, lighting, composition, and condition of the photograph supplied by the customer. BadgePix provides a preview process so customers can review the image before approving it for production. Additional photo-quality and replacement terms may be provided on BadgePix.com and are incorporated into these Terms when applicable.


GIFT CERTIFICATES

Each BadgePix Gift Certificate includes one personalized BadgePix with free standard U.S. shipping. You may purchase a certificate without providing the recipient’s photograph or mailing address. For an officer you know, you receive the certificate after checkout and are responsible for delivering it to the officer. For an agency you choose, you specify the law enforcement agency. BadgePix mails the certificate to its Chief, Sheriff, or agency head to give to an officer of their choice. BadgePix emails you when the certificate has been mailed. You may choose to include your name and email address with the certificate so the receiving officer can thank you if they wish. Sharing is optional, and no response is required. If you do not consent, BadgePix does not include your name or email address in the gift materials provided to the agency or officer. The recipient redeems the certificate through BadgePix, submits their photograph and mailing information, provides their email address, and approves their preview.

Gift Certificates do not expire. Each code may be successfully redeemed only once. An unfinished redemption may be resumed. Gift Certificates have no cash value and may not be redeemed for cash except where required by law.


AGENCY AND ORGANIZATION ORDERS

Eligible agencies and organizations may purchase BadgePix Gift Certificates in bulk. The current agency program provides Gift Certificates at the price and minimum quantity displayed on BadgePix.com at the time of purchase. The agency receives a downloadable PDF containing individual Gift Certificates with unique redemption codes. The purchasing agency or organization is responsible for distributing those certificates. Recipients provide their own photographs, mailing addresses, and redemption information directly to BadgePix. An agency purchase does not give the purchasing organization ownership of or access to an officer’s uploaded personal photograph or redemption information except where disclosure is required by law.


PRICING AND PAYMENT

Prices are stated in U.S. dollars. Applicable sales tax may be calculated and collected at checkout. Payments are processed through Stripe or another payment processor identified at checkout. BadgePix may change future prices, products, promotions, or availability at any time. A price change does not alter an order that has already been successfully paid.


ORDER INFORMATION

You are responsible for providing accurate information when placing or redeeming an order. BadgePix may contact you using the email address provided in connection with an order, purchase, redemption, or customer-service request. You should retain your order information, Gift Certificate, and redemption code until the transaction has been completed.


WEBSITE USE

You may not use BadgePix.com to:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, database, customer information, or systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt website operations
  • Submit fraudulent orders or payment information
  • Attempt to duplicate, manipulate, guess, or improperly redeem Gift Certificate codes
  • Upload unlawful or infringing material
  • Use automated tools to abuse forms, checkout processes, redemption systems, or other website functions

BadgePix may restrict or refuse access when reasonably necessary to protect customers, the website, or the business from fraud, misuse, security threats, or unlawful activity.


INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The BadgePix name, branding, website content, product designs, graphics, logos, text, and other original BadgePix materials are owned by BadgePix or used with permission. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of BadgePix intellectual property to a customer or website visitor. Customer-supplied photographs remain the property of their respective owners.


PRODUCT APPEARANCE

Because BadgePix products are created from customer-supplied photographs and viewed on different screens and devices, slight differences in cropping, color, brightness, print appearance, or positioning may occur between an electronic preview and the finished physical product.


LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BadgePix will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website, a customer-supplied photograph, a Gift Certificate, or a BadgePix product. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited under applicable law.


NO LAW-ENFORCEMENT AFFILIATION OR ENDORSEMENT

The purchase or use of a BadgePix does not imply endorsement by any law-enforcement agency, governmental entity, badge manufacturer, union, association, or other organization. Customers are responsible for complying with any agency policies applicable to their badge, uniform, equipment, or personal items.


PRIVACY

Use of personal information and photographs is governed by the BadgePix Privacy Policy, which is available through the website footer.


CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

BadgePix may update these Terms as products, services, website features, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on BadgePix.com with its effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless otherwise required by law.


GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.


REFUNDS & REPLACEMENTS

Each BadgePix is custom-made using the photograph supplied by the customer and the preview approved before purchase or completion of a Gift Certificate redemption. If a finished BadgePix is incorrect or materially differs from the approved preview because of a BadgePix production error, BadgePix will replace it at no charge. If the finished BadgePix matches the approved preview, refunds or replacements are not provided for dissatisfaction caused by the quality, resolution, lighting, composition, cropping, or other characteristics of the customer-supplied photograph. If a BadgePix is lost or damaged during shipping, contact BadgePix through the Contact page. BadgePix may request reasonable information or photographs to verify the issue. Once verified, a replacement will be provided at no charge. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies provided by applicable law.


GIFT CERTIFICATE REDEMPTION CODES

Each BadgePix Gift Certificate contains a unique redemption code that may be used for one BadgePix.

Redemption codes:

  • May be redeemed only once.
  • Do not expire.
  • Have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
  • Must be entered through the official BadgePix redemption process.
  • Become invalid after a successful redemption has been completed.


For gifts to an officer you know and agency bulk purchases, the purchaser or receiving organization delivers the certificate and redemption code. For gifts to an officer selected by BadgePix, BadgePix mails the certificate to the selected officer. Treat a redemption code like a gift certificate. Anyone who has access to a valid unused code may be able to redeem it. BadgePix is not responsible for an unauthorized redemption resulting from a code being lost, forwarded, photographed, copied, publicly posted, or otherwise shared by the purchaser or recipient. If you believe an unused redemption code has been lost or compromised, contact BadgePix as soon as possible. BadgePix may deactivate and replace an unused code when reasonably possible. A code that has already been legitimately processed through the redemption system generally cannot be reissued. BadgePix may reject or suspend a redemption when there is reasonable evidence of fraud, duplication, manipulation, or misuse of a redemption code.


SHIPPING & FULFILLMENT

Standard U.S. shipping is free. Your physical BadgePix will arrive in 5–7 business days after purchase or completed gift redemption.

For individual orders, the delivery window begins after the purchase is completed. For Gift Certificates, it begins after the recipient completes redemption, including submitting their photo, approving their preview, and providing their mailing information—not when the certificate is purchased. BadgePix ships to the mailing address supplied during creation or redemption. Customers and recipients are responsible for providing a complete and accurate address. A fulfillment update may be sent to the email address associated with the physical BadgePix order once it has been mailed. Incorrect or incomplete addresses, postal-service disruptions, weather, and holidays may affect delivery times.
